Birnam Arts has a year-round open door programme of music, theatre, dance and comedy performances, as well as a wide range of workshop activities including workshops, libraries and classes for children and adults alike. Many high quality, diverse exhibitions, displayed in the Auditorium or Gallery. There is also the popular Café to Beatrix Potter and the remarkable Beatrix Potter exhibition as a tribute to the family’s long summer salmon season holidays here, these inspired Beatrix’s work as a world famous artist.

Beatrix wrote a ‘picture letter’ which provided the basis for her first book ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit’ whilst in Perthshire, Scotland – and do not forget to visit the shop.
